Solved! Foxwell NT530 Cannot Update Online Successfully

Customer Problem:

I bought this Foxwell NT530 scanner recently. I have made many attempts to download the software, and they don’t work.

The download starts, then gets stuck at trying to download and unzip the “Home” file.

I have been in contact by email with Foxwell and they suggested unplugging it and then plugging in again and try again. Follow their suggestion, I have tried this and every combination I can think of, but it will not download the VW or Home files.

It has downloaded the OBDII/EOBD file only. So without the software it does no more that a low cost scanner and doesn’t do what it is supposed to do.

Immediately after purchasing the MaxDiag 808 Pro, I created a user account on the Autel website and downloaded the PC software app required for updating the unit. Autel can only support Windows which would remind you the software of Autel is not trustful, but that is fine because most Windows software works like that. Then the MD808 Pro software update completed without any more hitches.

Review 4: Works as expected
This is a very capable scanner for the money. It is easy to use and has a very nice color screen. Used it to diagnose and fix problems on Mercedes, BMW, VW and so on. it detects VIN automatically, and easy to reset engine warning lights. aslo do some basic TPMS on some Japanese cars like Honda, but no TPMS work for Germany car. It's a downgraded MX808. Considering the price and free update lifetime, great deal!!

Part 1: How to use XPROG V6.12
XPROG V6.12  ECU Programmer  added new authorization: AUTH-0028-3 Renesas RL78 and AUTH-0028-4 Renesas M32C. It only supports English, can be used on Win XP/ Win7 and Win8.

Tips to use XPROG V6.12:
1.XPROG-M V6.12 dongle isn't compatible with older version Xprog.
2.Please close all anti-virus software in your computer, because the anti-virus software will kill Xprog-M V6.12 driver.
3.Disconnect internet. If not, the internet may damage XPROG hardware.

4 steps to install XPROG V6.12 software:
