How to Read & write EDC17cp09 on 2009 BMW 335D

Purpose: to read and write to EDC17cp09 on a 2009 BMW 335D

Looking for a ECU programmer up to $300 or so.

I don’t want to keep opening and closing the ECU.

Solution:

This Ecu isn’t easy to do via OBD be

cause you can’t read it this way. I do it mostly with X17, there is a virtual read option and you can finish job without removing ecu.

With your budget you could buy KTM Bench, it supports bench reading and writing without opening Ecu, but you have to take it out from the car, which is in 10 min done on e9x.
